Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Principles 

In partnership with you, our teams use a stage-gate design and development process to deliver the best products possible. This proven approach structures the flow of product development and ensures maximum interaction between our design teams and you, the client, at every phase.  

80% of manufacturing costs are determined during the design phase. We therefore place greater emphasis on ironing out costs during the design phase because it’s much harder to take meaningful cost out of the product when it’s in manufacturing stage.

Changes to the product design after design freeze are difficult and expensive, which is why we devote so much investment and consideration DFM principles early in the product development cycle.
