Fused Deposition Modelling

In 2015, Schivo partnered with Stratasys in order to greatly expand our 3d Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) offering.  FDM 3D printing is ideal for the medical device sector as it allows us to print bio-compatible materials such as ABS-M30I and polycarbonate ISO to create complex durable geometries and ensures excellent component quality in both physical characteristics and appearance.  The technology works by building up layers of heated and extruded thermoplastic filament into highly accurate complex structures.  

Additionally, we have partners that expand our polymer AM capabilities into Selective Laser Sintering, Polyjet and Stereolithography.
