Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing

Additive Manufacturing / 3D Printing

3D printing has revolutionised manufacturing, enabling the production of prototypes, tools and final parts directly from CAD data, thereby cutting costs and delivery times. The quality of 3D printed components is second to none. We provide a wide range of 3D printing and manufacturing of components and assemblies, in partnership with Stratasys, the world leaders in FDM technology.

FDM 3D Printing

In FDM 3D printing, layers of different thermoplastic polymer are extruded and built up into highly accurate complex structures. A secondary material may also be used to support overhang and voids during the manufacturing process. This support material is removed after the final product is finished.

Metal 3D Printing

We have partnered with Waterford Institute of Technology’s (WIT) South East Applied Materials (SEAM) Centre which has an EOSINT M280 Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) metal 3D Printing machine.
